Biography

Charles (Chip) Trimmier is an M&A advisor with 25 years experience helping business owners, executive teams, and boards of directors evaluate potential pathways toward accomplishing their goals. Chip enjoys helping his clients find creative ways forward that maximize benefits to everyone concerned.

Prior to joining Exit Strategies, Chip owned and managed a multi-state law firm where he directed the financial operations of the firm as well as an area of corporate legal practice. Chip served as general counsel and as a business development professional in a Washington, DC area military/government contractor. Chip also has experience starting up businesses in title insurance, financial services, property management, and outdoor recreation.

Chip works out of Exit Strategies’ San Jose office and lives on the Peninsula. He is an avid trail runner who has completed a 100 mile ultramarathon in less than 24 hours, a writer, and a musician/audio engineer.
