Exit Strategies Group is pleased to announce that it served as exclusive M&A advisor to Power Motion in its sale to Tavoron, a portfolio company of Fusion Capital Partners. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in St Louis, with branch offices in Kansas City and Little Rock, Power Motion has supplied motion control, machine vision, sensors, robotics and engineered systems to OEMs, integrators and end user manufacturers across the central U.S. for more than 40 years. In addition to representing many premier industrial automation brands, Power Motion’s veteran systems group adds turnkey systems integration, industrial control panel fabrication, programming, and commissioning support. Power Motion will maintain its entire team and high-touch service model as it integrates into Tavoron’s broader automation business.

Exit Strategies Group advised the Tremblay family throughout the transaction, including preparing the company for market, positioning the business, identifying and approaching qualified buyers, managing due diligence and negotiations, and driving the transaction through closing. Our process attracted multiple qualified buyers. Tavoron emerged as the preferred buyer based on its strategic fit, commitment to Power Motion’s employees and supplier relationships, and vision for the company’s continued growth.
