Exit Strategies Group Advises Turner Designs in Sale to Solinst
Exit Strategies Group served as M&A advisor to Turner Designs, Inc., a San Jose, California-based provider of fluorometers and fluorescence sensors for water quality monitoring, on the Company’s sale to Solinst Canada Ltd., a Georgetown, Ontario-based manufacturer of groundwater and surface water monitoring instrumentation. The Company will continue to operate from its San Jose facility under the new name Solinst Water Technologies, LLC, joining Solinst Canada, Solinst Eureka, Solinst Flute, and Spohr Messtechnik as part of the Solinst Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed
Founded nearly 50 years ago, Turner Designs will continue to develop fluorometers and optical sensors used to measure chlorophyll, cyanobacteria, colored dissolved organic matter, turbidity, oil and fuel in water, tryptophan, and other water quality parameters. The Company’s submersible, laboratory, field, and handheld instruments are used across environmental monitoring, aquaculture, biotechnology, wastewater treatment, oil spill response, and ballast water compliance applications.
